Toronto’s weather forecast for this weekend is wild and a dramatic turn is coming, Life in canada

4 July 20252 Mins Read

Toronto’s weather is heating up this weekend, with steamy temperatures, a humidex in the 40s, and a good chance of stormy surprises. If you’re making plans, keep water, sunscreen, and an umbrella nearby.

According to Environment Canada, Friday will be a summer classic with sunny skies, a high of 27 C, and a humidex of 32 C. The UV index is a very high 9, so sun protection is essential. Things cool off nicely overnight with clear skies and a low of 17 C, making it perfect for an evening walk or a late-night hang.

By Saturday, the temperature starts to feel really hot. It’ll be 31 C by the afternoon, but the humidex will make it feel more like 41 C.

Clouds roll in early, bringing a 30% chance of showers and a risk of thunderstorms later in the day. Winds from the south at 20 km/h will stir things up, but not enough to cool you down. Expect muggy, heavy air, especially if you’re spending time outside. Saturday night stays warm, with cloudy periods and a low of 20 C.

Sunday offers a mix of sun and cloud, with another scorcher on the way, as temperatures reach 31 C once again. The evening brings a 40% chance of showers, so sunset plans could get rained out.

By Monday, things shift. It’ll still be cloudy, but with a 60% chance of showers and a more comfortable high of 24 C. Overnight, there’s a 40% chance of rain, and the low drops to 17 C.

This weekend is expected to be hot, humid, and somewhat chaotic weather-wise.

Storms are possible, and the humidity will be relentless. So, if you’re heading to the beach, hitting up a patio, or exploring the city, plan to stay cool and flexible and don’t be surprised if the skies open up without much warning.
