Toronto’s weather is going to feel like summer this week … but don’t get too excited, Life in canada

2 June 20252 Mins Read

Get your sunglasses, sunscreen, and iced drinks ready — Toronto’s weather will feel like summer this week!

According to Environment Canada’s latest weather forecast, the city is in for a stretch of sunshine and seriously warm temperatures, with highs nearing 30 C and UV levels hitting the “very high” mark.

Monday kicks things off with sunny skies and a high of 23 C. Winds will pick up a bit later in the morning, but with a UV index of 8, you’ll definitely want that SPF on lock. It’ll stay clear and comfy at night, dropping to a low of 13 C — perfect for a late-night stroll.

But the real sizzle starts Tuesday. Expect full sun, a high of 27 C, and a humidex of 30. It’s basically beach weather in the city. And if that wasn’t enough, the UV index climbs to 9. Sunscreen will be unavoidable!

Wednesday stays hot at 27 C, but the clouds will start creeping in with a 30% chance of showers — your first hint that this sunny streak won’t last forever.

The chance of rain will increase as the week progresses, with Thursday and Friday looking pretty grey and damp. Expect highs in the low 20s and a 40–60% chance of showers by the end of the working week. So, have your umbrella at the ready!

The weekend brings back those chill early-summer vibes with a mix of sun and cloud, with highs in the low-to-mid 20s. So, if you’re planning a brunch, hike, or park day, Saturday and Sunday are your best bets.

Heatwave now, rain later — classic Toronto. Soak it up while you can!
