Sunridge Hotel Group has announced the opening of the 69-suite TownePlace Suites by Marriott Thatcher at 2777 West Highway 70 in Thatcher, Arizona.
The TownePlace Suites by Marriott Thatcher is owned by Gila Valley Hospitality II, LLC and managed by Sunridge Hotel Group. General Manager Brittany Hernandez leads the management team at the property, which is located next to the SpringHill Suites by Marriott, also operated by Sunridge Hotel Group.
The property features 69 suites, including studio and one-bedroom options. Each suite includes a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, separate living, working, and sleeping areas, adjustable workspaces with built-in shelves and lighting, large flat-screen televisions, and bedding.
Hotel amenities include electric-vehicle charging stations, a fitness center, an outdoor patio with a fire pit and Weber grills, guest laundry facilities, and complimentary breakfast. The hotel is pet-friendly.
The location offers access to Eastern Arizona College and Fine Arts Center, Graham County Fairgrounds, the Gila Valley Arizona Temple, and the Freeport-McMoRan Mine. Nearby outdoor recreation includes hiking on Mount Graham and visits to Roper Lake State Park and the Gila Box Riparian Conservation Area.
