Trader Joe's Fans Are 'Hooked' on This Restocked Sweet Treat

11 August 20252 Mins Read

When it comes to grocery stores, few are as beloved as Trader Joe’s. In fact, we think it’s fair to say that the California-based retailer has a somewhat cult-like following.

The latest Trader Joe’s item to send fans into a frenzy is the milk chocolate gummy bears. Taking to Reddit, one shopper started a thread, writing, “I am so HOOKED on the milk chocolate gummy bears that it’s not even funny!!!”

The fan went on to explain, “I have always enjoyed chocolate-covered gummy bears, but these are just in a different league. They’re way softer than Haribo, and the milk chocolate coating melts in your mouth with such a creamy flavor. They feel luxurious, and once I have one … I want them all!!”

It didn’t take long before other TJ fans chimed in with their own praise for the sweet treat.

“I ate a whole bag yesterday. No regrets,” a second user wrote. “Those are dangerous!!” added another.

“I think we all should band together and demand these be all year round,” a third person wrote, referring to the fact that the gummy bears are a seasonal item. “I’m with you!” a fourth user chimed in.

So, why is such a beloved product seasonal? One shopper theorized, “They’re most likely seasonal because of the factory that they’re made in. As in, the factory probably has a few months off-season where they stop producing their product and switch to a couple of months of white labeling. This is the case for most TJ’s products that are seasonally stocked, even though the item doesn’t seem to be themed to that specific season.”

In addition to the milk chocolate gummy bears, some other popular Trader Joe’s candies include Scandinavian Swimmers, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, Dark Chocolate Almonds, and the Gone Bananas! frozen chocolate-covered banana slices.
