Trader Joe’s has food items for everyone, and the grocery store chain even offers different variations of the same meal. Some of the store’s most valued customers voted on their favorite products, crowning some tasty eats as the queen bee over other options.
Popular Trader Joe’s reviewer and content creator Natasha Fischer, who runs the Trader Joe’s List Instagram account, held a “This or That” voting poll on Sunday, July 6. The strawberry and blood orange mochi were the sweet treats that battled for the top spot. Sixty-four percent of voters chose the first option as the best, whereas the latter received 36 percent of the votes.
The Trader Joe’s caesar salad with white chicken meat won by a landslide, with 80 percent of voters preferring the healthy meal over the salmon option. Meanwhile, the frozen spicy meat pizza and pizza parlanno were a close vote. However, the last option won by eight percent, winning over the stomachs of 54 percent of voters.
Similar to the pizza results, consumers were almost evenly divided between cowboy caviar salsa and the corn and chile salsa. The viral TikTok cowboy caviar received love from 59 percent of viewers, whereas the corn and chile salsa reached 41 percent of votes.
Trader Joe’s customers know that the frozen dinner items are elite, including the teriyaki chicken bowl and mandarin-style orange chicken bowl. Sixty-five percent of voters preferred the orange chicken option, leaving the teriyaki chicken with 35 percent of the votes.
Fans chimed off in the comments section of the post, as most of them wholeheartedly disagreed with the results of the mochi battle.
“Surprised by the mochi since the blood orange is soo good,” one person wrote.
A second person added, “Strawberry mochi over blood orange?? Diabolical,” leading a separate individual to reply, “I was legit coming here to write this verbatim!”
