TravelBoom Hotel Marketing is proud to welcome Danielle Ackerman as its new Group Account Director, deepening the agency’s commitment to hospitality marketing excellence and client success.

With over 17 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, Danielle brings a rare depth of perspective and passion to the TravelBoom team. She’s held a variety of sales and marketing roles at both small and large destination marketing organizations, giving her a firsthand understanding of the challenges hospitality brands face in today’s competitive market.

Danielle has also served at a full-service agency specializing in travel and tourism clients, where she initially focused on strategy and growth and led the expansion of in-house digital service offerings. Most recently, she worked at a leading provider in the MarTech space, helping brands harness big data to identify high-impact opportunity markets and directly attribute paid media to traveler behaviors and spend.

Her decision to join TravelBoom was guided by a clear purpose: to help independent and boutique hotels thrive. “I’m excited to put my industry expertise to work for our hotel clients and help them grow,” Danielle said. “TravelBoom attracted me because of the clients we serve. Independent and boutique lodging is essential to the travel space because of the special and unique experiences they provide to their guests.”

As Group Account Director, Danielle will lead TravelBoom’s client teams, overseeing strategy, performance, and internal operations. Her focus is on driving client growth, optimizing processes, and ensuring that every campaign delivers both creatively and commercially.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Danielle to the TravelBoom team,” said Scott Brandon, CEO of TravelBoom. “Her impressive background in tourism marketing, combined with her strategic mindset and deep understanding of the hospitality landscape, makes her a perfect fit for our team. Danielle’s passion for helping independent hotels grow aligns perfectly with our mission, and we’re excited to leverage her expertise to drive continued success for our clients and our agency.”

While her resume is packed with career accomplishments, Danielle is most proud of the relationships she’s built throughout her journey. “Travel will always be a relationship business. I believe that personal connection is what strengthens partnerships and takes agency/client relationships beyond a vendor and to a true extension of the client team.”

Outside of work, Danielle is an unapologetic nerd with a love for storytelling in all forms. Whether she’s curled up with an epic fantasy novel, adventuring through an RPG, or hanging with her rescue pups, she brings the same curiosity and passion to her personal life that she brings to her work.

With Danielle’s leadership, TravelBoom is poised to continue evolving its capabilities and impact—delivering smarter strategies, stronger partnerships, and exceptional results for its clients.
