The Spice Girls told us that “friendship never ends” in their iconic hit “Wannabe,” and they’re living proof of it!
Melanie C and Emma Bunton, known to many as Sporty Spice and Baby Spice, reunited on Wednesday at Pete Townshend’s “Quadrophenia: A Mod Ballet” at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London, England.
The legendary songbirds looked happy and healthy at the event. Bunton, 49, wore jeans and a white blouse and sported her trademark blonde hair. Mel C, 51, wore a chic minidress with dirty blonde hair.

Bunton still occasionally performs Spice Girls hits, but with her a twist. Last year, she released a new version of the group’s song “2 Become 1” recorded with the Budapest Scoring Orchestra.
“Earlier this year, I had the amazing opportunity to record one of my favourite Spice Girls singles, 2 Become 1, with the incredible @budapestscoring Orchestra!” Bunton wrote on on Instagram.
“Hearing the song brought to life by such a talented orchestra gave me goosebumps—it was such a magical experience,” she continued. “We just had to capture the session on film, and now you can watch the full video via the link in bio. 🎥 I’d love to hear what you think!💖✨.”

The legendary Spice Girls exploded onto the scene in 1996. Seeing as next year will be the 30th anniversary of “Wannabe,” everyone is wondering if the Girls are willing to head back out on tour to celebrate. Extra TV checked in with Mel B (Scary Spice, for those of you who aren’t familiar) and she said she’s down with the idea.
“Your guess is as good as mine right now! I’m always game,” she explained. “Always.”
