University of British Columbia offers dozens of free courses you can take this fall

21 August 20252 Mins Read

Who’s ready to dive into a new subject or pick up a couple of new skills? As summer slowly transitions to fall, it’s a great time of year to start thinking about what classes are available in your area, and thankfully, these courses at UBC won’t hurt your wallet.

The top 40 global institution offers dozens of free courses in collaboration with edX, spanning everything from coding to psychology.

While plenty of valuable learning takes place outside of the classroom, it’s inside the classroom where you’re given the full opportunity to try new things, fail, and try again. So you’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain by taking a free course or two this upcoming season.

Another great perk of these free courses is that many of them are self-paced, meaning you can work through the material at your own speed.

Here are just some of the free courses you can take at UBC this fall:

Note that there are also a handful of UBC courses currently listed that are archived, but may have upcoming start dates announced. So make sure to check back and stay tuned for more wallet-friendly learning to come!

Take your curiosities and passion for learning to the next level this fall.
