Vancouver’s Best Places had a contest where you could win tickets to a Vancouver Canadians baseball game or to Everything Electric Vancouver.

If you signed up for our e-newsletter by September 1st, you could have won a pair of tickets to the Vancouver Canadians’ game at Nat Bailey Stadium against Everett on September 7th. Or you could have won a pair of tickets to the electric vehicle and home energy show at the Vancouver Convention Centre on September 5th to 7th.

NOTE: This contest has ENDED. It’s too late to enter. Sign up for our e-newsletter, however, to learn about future contests (and to stay up to date on what’s happening in the Lower Mainland).

For full details about the contest, including how you could have entered it, continue reading.

NOTE: The winner of this contest will be notified by e-mail. If you get a message from us, make sure it really is from us! The e-mail will be from [email protected]. Make sure that’s the e-mail address, without any variations in spelling (just in case a con artist tries to trick you.) Also, we won’t ask you for any personal information or get you to click any links to redeem your prize.

Below is information about A) How to Enter, B) the Contest Prize, C) Contest Eligibility & The Contest Draw, and D) Other Terms and Conditions related to the contest rules.

Note: By participating in this contest, participants declare that they have read, understand and accept the following giveaway contest rules and agree to accept all decisions by Vancouver’s Best Places with respect to this contest.

A. How to Enter

Qualified adults who sign up for Vancouver’s Best Places’ e-newsletter between Friday, August 29th, and Monday, September 1st, are entered in the contest automatically. If you signed up prior to August 29th, you are not automatically entered in the contest. (Note: Please don’t sign up for our e-newsletter using different e-mail addresses. You can only enter the contest once.)

B. Contest Prizes

Two winners will be awarded a pair of tickets to the Vancouver Canadians‘ home game at Nat Bailey Stadium on September 7th. (The value of that prize is approximately $50). Five people will also win a pair of ticket each to Everything Electric Vancouver for any day between September 5th and 7th, 2025.

The winner will be contacted by Vancouver’s Best Places with instructions on how they can claim their prizes. The winner must reply to the e-mail informing them of their winning within 48 hours (or by the end of day on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, whichever is later). Failure to reply within this time period will result in the forfeiture of the prize which will then be awarded to another recipient who will be similarly selected by a random draw.

The prizes of tickets have no cash value and cannot be sold or redeemed for cash or exchanged for a different date.

C. Contest Eligibility and the Contest Draw

This giveaway is open to residents of British Columbia, Canada, who are at least 19 years of age.

To qualify for the prizes the selected winner must verify that they are a BC resident and over 19 years of age. If they are unable to verify these details they will be disqualified and another draw will take place to choose a new recipient of the prize.

The winner will be selected via a random draw of eligible entry submissions by Vancouver’s Best Places. After being notified, the winner will have to answer a basic skill-testing question in order to receive their prize.

Employees, agents and representatives of Vancouver’s Best Places, or members of the immediate family of such persons (including spouses, parents, siblings or children) are not eligible to enter this contest.
