A number of organizations and attractions in Metro Vancouver offer Spring Break camps for children and teenagers during the school holidays in March.
In 2025 Spring Break runs from March 17th to March 28th.
Attractions that offer Spring Break camps for kids in 2025 include the Fraser River Discovery Centre in New Westminster, WildPlay Element Park in Maple Ridge, the BC Sports Hall of Fame in Vancouver and Place des Arts in Coquitlam. There are also special activities at Britannia Mine Museum near Squamish, and discounted games with Vancouver Mysteries, as well as events at other places too.
The designed age ranges for Spring Break camps vary, but generally they’re geared towards children either in elementary school or the beginning of high school. Keep reading below for details about each of the various camps.
WildPlay Maple Ridge
WildPlay Element Park in Maple Ridge offers its special Anti-Gravity Camps at various times throughout the year. There are single-day camps on Pro-D Days and then during Spring Break there are week-long camps. There are camps in the summer too.
The longer camps run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday during Spring Break. They’re designed for youth ages 10 to 14 and all participants must be at least 4’8″ tall.
While at WildPlay kids get the chance to tackle the park’s collection of adventure courses and jumps. They also go on nature walks and take part in other activities like learning how to identify local plants and wildlife.
Registration for a week-long Anti-Gravity Camp costs $425 with early bird pricing, or $450 at full price. WildPlay season passholders also get a discount. Alternatively, if you use the promo code VBP15, you can save 15% (both on the Spring Break camps and on the general activities at other times too). Each camp consists of 10 to 24 kids with one park guide for every eight campers.

BC Sports Hall of Fame
The BC Sports Hall of Fame is situated inside BC Place Stadium in downtown Vancouver. In 2025 the museum offers two single-day Spring Break camps on the Mondays of March 17th and 24th.
The camps run from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm and are intended for children ages 7 to 10. They feature educational tours showcasing the rich sporting history of BC. They also offer the chance to have fun with the museum’s many interactive exhibits. The cost to enjoy the camp is just $60 for each participant. That’s a terrific deal!
In addition to the camps on Mondays, there are also other Spring Break deals on offer during the school holidays. On Tuesdays to Thursdays there are discounts on all group bookings. Then on Fridays to Sundays there are discounts on family passes so two adults and two kids can visit the museum for just $40.
The above offers are valid from March 17th to 30th. Click BC Sports Hall of Fame for more details.
Place des Arts
Place des Arts offers all kinds of programs and events for kids at different times of the year. Over Spring Break, the education centre in Coquitlam hosts art camps for various age groups.
There are full-day camps for kids in Kindergarten to Grade 5. Those take place from 9:00 am to 3:35 pm on Monday to Friday during the first week of Spring Break. Half-day camps are also available for older children in Grades 6 to 9. Morning sessions start at 9:00 am and run until noon. Afternoon sessions, meanwhile, start at 12:35 pm and run until 3:35 pm. The second week of Spring Break is when kids in Kindergarten to Grade 2 can enjoy half-day camps on weekday mornings as well.
Topics and activities covered in each camp depend on the age group. For example, younger children get to dance, paint, learn origami, play guitar, and so much more. Older kids, on the other hand, get to refine their skills in specific disciplines such as drawing and drama.
For full details about the camps see the Place des Arts website.
Britannia Mine Museum
The Britannia Mine is a National Historic Site located between Vancouver and Squamish. It’s a terrific museum. Although the attraction doesn’t offer Spring Break camps, there are still special activities for kids to enjoy over the holidays.
From Tuesdays to Saturdays between March 15th and March 29th, there are Mini Mud Monsters sessions from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. They include hands-on things to do where families can learn ways to help the environment. Also from Tuesdays to Thursdays over Spring Break, there’s a program about Mt. Sheer. Guests learn what it was like to live in the mining town in the 1900s.
