Vancouver will soon have daily flights to Whistler and scenic sightseeing tours

12 May 20253 Mins Read

When it comes to seeing the best that B.C. has to offer, Harbour Air is an iconic and convenient way to get from point A to point B while enjoying the breathtaking ocean and mountain views in between. Starting Thursday, May 15, 2025, North America’s largest all-seaplane airline is relaunching its seasonal flights to Whistler, in addition to a lineup of sightseeing tours across B.C.’s incredible coastline and mountains.

Currently, Harbour Air operates over 155 daily flights to locations across the province, including Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, Comox, Tofino, Nanaimo, and Seattle (WA). In addition to its scenic tours, the airline is known for implementing the world’s first all-electric commercial flight. So, whether you’re planning a trip to the Island or Whistler, it may be worth bypassing highway and ferry traffic and splurging on a flight or two.

“There’s something magical about seeing British Columbia from the air that forever changes how you experience the beauty of this province,” says Chris Fordyce, VP Commercial, Harbour Air. “Our daily flights and award-winning tours showcase the breathtaking diversity of B.C.’s landscapes while saving precious vacation time.”

Daily flights between downtown Vancouver and Whistler

From May 15 to Sep. 29, 2025, passengers will be able to take advantage of daily 45-minute flights between downtown Vancouver (Coal Harbour) and Whistler (Green Lake).

With one-way fares starting at $121, flights will depart from Vancouver at 10 a.m. and Whistler at 6 p.m.

On the journey, passengers can enjoy breathtaking aerial views of glaciers, alpine lakes, and coastal rainforests.

Signature sightseeing tours

Harbour Air’s signature sightseeing tours are also back for the season, with one-way fares starting at $159. These 30 to 60-minute trips take off from Vancouver, Victoria and Whistler, offering passengers panoramic views of landmarks such as Howe Sound, Garibaldi Park, and the Gulf Islands.

According to Harbour Hair, scenic tour highlights include the following flights:

  • Vancouver Panorama Tours (Daily)
  • Whistler Glacier and Valley Tours (Daily) — with an additional three tours per day added for 2025
  • Victoria Classic Panorama and Whale Watching Tours

Daily flights and sightseeing tours can be booked online via Harbour Air.
