While the term “cucumber influencer” might immediately conjure up images that more closely align with more, ahem, adult websites, those in the know can tell you that it’s Ottawa-based TikToker Logan Moffitt (@logagm) who actually earned the title — and the whole thing is totally safe for work.
“Sometimes, you just need to eat an entire cucumber,” has been the refrain heard, seemingly, around the world, as popularized by Logan in his wildly popular series on TikTok, wherein he shows his audience of nearly 7 million followers for creating various cucumber-based dishes (as well as the importance of proper safety precautions when using a mandolin.)
Ever since July 2024, Logan has taken the short-form video-sharing platform by storm with recipes like lox cucumber salad, featuring smoked salmon, cream cheese, and capers, cucumber kimchi, spicy tuna cucumber salad, and cucumber margaritas—frequently topped off with a healthy dose of MSG, obviously.
Taking a quick break from cucumbers, the influencer has found himself in Toronto, and he’s already taken to TikTok to give his review of one local institution.

“I’m in Toronto, and I ordered breakfast,” Logan says at the top of the video, announcing that he’s chosen iconic Toronto bagel shop, What a Bagel, for the most important meal of the day.
“I got [a] salmon cream cheese bagel, so it’s literally exactly like the cucumber salad that I make,” he says, showing the camera a particularly drool-worthy cross-section of his meal before taking his first bite.
The verdict?
“Oh damn, that is some really good smoked salmon, holy moly,” Logan exclaims. “I did not expect it to be that good.”
Logan then plucks a slice of cucumber out of the bagel for good measure, ensuring we all know that, despite the unusual addition of a bagel to this favourite dish of his, it’s still all about the cucumbers.
Maybe on Logan’s next trip to Toronto, he should line up a collab with the city’s own Six Pack Chef, who went viral a few years back for his videos finely chopping cucumbers.
You can try What a Bagel for yourself at any of their seven locations in Toronto.
