The world’s first voco resort, voco Quang Binh Resort – By IHG, has opened in Quang Binh Province, Vietnam. The all-suite-and-villa resort is the second voco property in Vietnam, following voco Ma Belle Danang – By IHG, which opened in 2023.

The resort is located in Dong Hoi, the capital city of Quang Binh province, and offers 68 suites and beachfront villas. These accommodations provide a serene and intimate atmosphere with direct access to Bao Ninh beach. The design focuses on a welcoming environment with an interior that hints at Indochine aesthetics, incorporating rich colours, intricate patterns, local craftsmanship, and exclusive voco Hotels artwork. The layout of the suites and villas, varying between 43 sqm and 300 sqm, allows for abundant natural light, creating an ideal atmosphere for relaxation.

Upon check-in, guests are greeted with a signature voco welcome treat that represents the local area. At voco Quang Binh Resort—By IHG, this treat is “Cu Đơ,” a traditional Vietnamese candy made of peanut, caramel, ginger, and rice paper.

The resort’s spa, Yen Spa & Wellness, comprises 17 treatment rooms, a foot spa, a rejuvenating hydrotherapy pool, a sauna room, and a salon. In addition, the resort houses an indoor and outdoor pool and a 24-hour gym. For dining, guests can choose from the Flamingo Restaurant, which offers local and international dishes, or enjoy cocktails at the Oasis Pool Bar.

The resort provides an excellent starting point for exploring Quang Binh, home to the world’s largest cave, Son Doong, and the 116-kilometre-long coastline with picturesque beaches such as Nhat Le and Da Nhay. Other attractions in the vicinity include the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, Mooc spring, Vietnam’s longest zipline, mud bathing at Chay river, and the cultural site of Lieu Hanh Mother Temple.
