voco The Shelby, located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has officially opened its doors. This marks the introduction of the first voco hotel by IHG in the state. The hotel is conveniently located near the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and SkyWheel, offering easy access to local attractions and the airport.

The property features 241 guest rooms and suites, each designed with retro-inspired interiors. Amenities include ocean views, private balconies, and in-room digital guides for exploring the area. Guests are welcomed with locally handmade saltwater taffy upon check-in.

The hotel offers a range of facilities, including The Shelby Beach Club, which comprises a lazy river and a spacious pool. The Palm & Pebble, an all-day restaurant and bar, offers a diverse menu and features a daily happy hour. Live music is available on weekends, and yoga sessions are held on Saturdays.

For events, voco The Shelby provides over 1,300 square feet of flexible meeting space, featuring ocean views and access to a courtyard. The venue is suitable for weddings, reunions, and corporate meetings, with catering services available from The Palm & Pebble.
