W Hotels has opened its first adult all-inclusive resort, W Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic.
W Hotels has launched its inaugural adult all-inclusive resort, W Punta Cana, located in the Dominican Republic. This development marks the brand’s entry into the all-inclusive market. The resort features 340 guest rooms and suites, with each room starting at 700 square feet. All accommodations include king-size beds, and select suites offer swim-up pools and private pools.
The design of W Punta Cana was developed by Zanobia Arquitectura, a firm based in Spain. The resort integrates local elements and features architecture and interiors that reflect the colors and textures of the Caribbean. The design incorporates motifs inspired by the region’s colonial heritage and natural materials.
The resort encompasses a 400-meter beachfront and includes an 80-meter infinity pool known as the WET Deck, along with a Chill Pool. The property also offers 12 dining and drinking venues, providing a range of culinary options from multicultural and Asian to local Dominican and Caribbean flavors.
W Punta Cana’s entertainment offerings include live music curated by the brand’s Music Director for the Caribbean and Latin America. The resort also features a wellness center with the AWAY Spa, offering treatments inspired by local traditions, and a 1,500-square-foot gym.
The resort provides 14,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a ballroom and multiple breakout rooms. This opening is part of W Hotels’ strategy to expand its portfolio in the all-inclusive segment, with additional properties planned for Corasol Playa del Carmen and Costa Mujeres in 2028 and 2029.
