Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch has begun accepting reservations ahead of its planned autumn opening. Located on The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace in St James’s, the property marks the first time the historic Admiralty Arch monument will host overnight guests. The Grade I listed building, spanning 200,000 square feet, was commissioned by King Edward VII in memory of Queen Victoria and designed by Sir Aston Webb.

Mansard Bedroom

The hotel will feature 114 rooms, suites, and residences. More than half of the accommodation will be dedicated to expansive residential and signature suites, with names referencing the building’s history and naval heritage, including the Nelson Suite, St James’s Residence, and Victory Residence. The design incorporates the building’s historic architecture.

Daniel Boulud and Clare Smyth MBE

Two destination restaurants will debut at the property, led by chefs Clare Smyth MBE and Daniel Boulud. Smyth’s restaurant, Coreus, will be located in the former home of the First Sea Lord and will focus on seafood and British produce. Smyth will also oversee a Whiskey & Seaweed bar, featuring a collection of whiskies from across the UK. Boulud’s Café Boulud will be situated on the rooftop, offering all-day dining with views of St James’s Park and Buckingham Palace.

Event spaces include a 3,540-square-foot ballroom featuring a nine-meter antique Murano chandelier restored in Rome, accessible via a dedicated entrance and the building’s original oval staircase. Additional event spaces will accommodate a range of functions.

The hotel’s spa will offer individual and couples’ treatment rooms, a sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool, and a private relaxation area. Fitness facilities will also be available.

Reservations are open for stays from 1 March 2027, with earlier availability to be announced as the hotel approaches its autumn debut. The property is located at The Mall, London SW1A 2WH.
