Melissa & Doug Flip Fish, $13 (was $25) at Walmart
C
Usually retailing for $25, the Melissa & Doug Flip Fish is now on sale for just $13 at Walmart. This is currently the lowest price available across retailers, matching Amazon’s sale price. Evoking the look of the titular character from the popular children’s book, The Rainbow Fish, this adorable sensory toy is a standout for tummy time. It’s made with soft fabric and bursting with bright colors, crinkly flip-up scales, and a mix of textures and patterns designed to captivate curious babies.
Suitable for infants but engaging through toddlerhood, this toy is lightweight and easy to toss into a diaper bag. There’s also a loop that you can use to hang it on a stroller. It’s perfect for on-the-go entertainment with no batteries and no noise, just pure fun.
Measuring a generous 15 inches long, one shopper said they were “pleasantly surprised by the size of this toy,” compared to other infant toys. Another said it was “a big hit” with their baby and noted how easy it is to toss in the washing machine when it needs a refresh.
Infantino Lil’ Nibbles Soft Baby Teether, $4 (was $17) at Walmart
C
If there’s one single baby toy category worth investing in above all others, it’s teething toys. Speaking from personal experience, you can really never have enough — and with one of Walmart’s most popular teethers on sale for just $4, now is the time to stock up.
This cute carrot-shaped teether from parent-favorite brand Infantino is designed for babies six to 12 months old. The BPA-free silicone is soft and flexible, with an easy-grip handle and dual textured ends (one bumpy, one ridged) make it a baby-friendly way to provide gum relief wherever soreness strikes. It’s also incredibly simple to clean, just needing a quick rinse or wipe-down after use.
Shoppers loved that this teether is not only excellent for relieving sore gums, but that it also looks “really cute.” The timing of this sale couldn’t be any better because, as one reviewer shared, it makes an adorable gift that was “perfect in our four-month-old’s Easter basket.”

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Puppy, $13 (was $19) at Walmart
Courtesy of Walmart
Designed for children ages six months to three years, the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Smart Stages Puppy is a popular interactive plush that’s packed with learning, and now on sale for just $13 at Walmart. Normally retailing for $19, this is the lowest price currently available across retailers, even beating Amazon’s $16 sale price.
My youngest two children each had one of these precious puppy plushes. It was one of the few musical toys that I didn’t actually mind hearing sing for what felt like the millionth time in a single day. Parents in the reviews section agreed that this is one of the least annoying singing toys on the market because the voice is “very clear and engaging.”
Several iterations of this toy have been sold since its debut in 2014, with the most recent update including three levels of play that adapt as your child grows. With over 100 first words, body parts, colors, shapes, and several songs, shoppers said it provides “hours of educational entertainment.”
