Wendy’s new Takis Fuego Meal is heating things up with the help of the fan-favorite spicy snack.
On May 14, food blogger Markie Devo shared the exciting news with instagram followers.

“OYYY!! Mamacita Wendy’s is getting extra fuego!!🔥,” they captioned their update.
The new Fuego Chicken Sandwich and Fuego Fries will reportedly hit Wendy’s menus nationwide in late June.
According to Devo, the Fuego Chicken Sandwich will feature a “spicy chicken fillet with chili lime & cheddar cheese sauce, followed by crushed Takis Fuego chips and creamy corn spread on a toasted bun.”
Meanwhile, the Fuego Fries are simply Wendy’s fries with a packet of lime seasoning.

In the comments, Devo’s followers rejoiced over the upcoming spicy offerings.

The limited-time Takis Fuego Meal is part of Wendy’s 100 Days of Summer promotion.
“(Takis) connects with Gen Z customers,” Kirk Tanner, Wendy’s president and chief executive officer said in a statement, per Food Business News.
Tanner continued, “It’s multicultural. It’s a customer group we’re going after. It drives traffic into our restaurants. The secret is how do you build on that? How does that become innovation off your core menu, and you create brand love through those experiences.”
