The Forza Horizon 6 early access is almost here. For those with the premium edition, you can head to Forza‘s version of Japan a few days early. You’ll be hurtling around Tokyo and its surrounding countryside at breakneck speed, searching for abandoned cars in barns, and learning more about Japanese history through the medium of cars.

If you’re wondering exactly what time you can start playing, however, then we’re here to help. This is everything we know about the Forza Horizon 6 release time for both early access and the full release date on Windows PC and Xbox.

What time does Forza Horizon 6 early access release in your time zone?

On Xbox consoles, or if you’re playing through the Xbox app on Windows PC, Forza Horizon 6 will be released at midnight local time. Well, one minute past, according to the official graphic above. The exception to this is if you’re in North America, where the game will launch at midnight EDT. This means that if you want to play early, you can perform the “New Zealand method,” where you change your time zone to NZST.

If you’re playing on Steam, however, it works a little differently. The release time is still at midnight EDT, but that applies globally, which means the release time in your time zone is the following:

• 9 p.m. PDT on Thursday, May 14 for the west coast of North America
• 12 p.m. EDT on Friday, May 15 for the east coast of North America
• 1 a.m. BRT on Friday, May 15 for Brazil
• 5 a.m. BST on Friday, May 15 for the United Kingdom
• 6 a.m. CEST on Friday, May 15 for western Europe
• 1 p.m. JST on Friday, May 15 for Japan
• 2 p.m. AEST on Friday, May 15 for the east coast of Australia

Can you preload Forza Horizon 6?

Good news: you can preload Forza Horizon 6 on all platforms. As long as you’ve pre-ordered the game, navigate to it in your library, and you should find the option to download it early. This works for both premium and standard editions, which should prevent any sizable downloads from halting your access once the release time rolls around.

Additionally, Forza Horizon 6 is also verified for handheld devices, including the Steam Deck, Xbox ROG Ally, and Ally X. If you’re looking forward to playing on PS5, however, you’ll need to wait until later this year.
