With news of TSN’s FIFA World Cup coverage wrapping up at Jack Poole Plaza and the end of Canada Soccer House at the Shipyards, you might be in a bit of a scramble trying to ensure your plans for the remainder of the World Cup are intact. Rest assured, Vancouver’s time as a host city might be up, but there are still plenty of watch parties and fan zones to check out before the end of this electric World Cup season.
Until July 19, the PNE Grounds at Hastings Park is keeping the party vibes alive, and it’s still completely free to enter. You’ll find a mix of massive screens at large viewing areas, as well as smaller ones scattered throughout, including by the bars and washrooms, so you never miss a moment. Plus, all kinds of activations like the Michelob Ultra and Michelob Ultra Zero keep the vibes high all day long. Come for a match, and stay for the experience!

Situated behind Granville Island Brewing, this massive watch party is a must-visit at least once this FIFA season. The energy in the air is palpable, with room for up to 1,000 people, a 24-foot screen, food trucks, a beer garden, kids’ games, and a bike valet. The gates here open one hour before each match and close one hour after.

The iconic pedestrian zone along Granville Street is intact, and it’s here to stay long after the final match. The five blocks have become synonymous with the life of the FIFA party, with expanded patios, food vendors, live music, dancing, and a whole array of on-the-spot festivities.
