The Mother of Thorns, a.k.a. Doja Cat, is a mini-boss that can be found around the map during Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4’s Fortnitemares event.
Doja Cat is linked to three Fortnitemares quests, but, to complete any of them, you’ll need to find her first. Tracking her down can be a little tricky as her location is not marked on the map, and a bunch of other players are hunting her down as well.
To speed up the search, here’s where you can find the Mother of Thorns during Fortnite‘s Fortnitemares event.
Where to find the Mother of Thorns in Fortnite
The Mother of Thorns has a chance to spawn at one of three different pumpkin patches:
- West of Supernova Academy
- Lower portion of Gourdy Gate
- Beside the southern red barn in Freaky Fields
As you reach the pumpkin patch, you’ll know if Doja Cat is there or not if you can see a boss icon on your minimap. Additionally, you’ll spot her sitting on a throne of thorns, and you’ll hear music playing in the background as you approach.
How to defeat the Mother of Thorns in Fortnite
The Mother of Thorns doesn’t have any gimmicks or special abilities during the Fortnitemares event. The hardest part about defeating her will be finding her location and dealing with the swarms of other players also looking to complete the quest. All you’ll need to do is grab a weapon and shoot away until her health fully depletes.
After you defeat her, she’ll go down, allowing you to revive her to join your party, and she’ll also drop a mythic Thorn Ripper, which you’ll need to complete another Fortnitemares quest.
