According to the ECCC’s forecast for the upcoming week, Vancouver is about to get a little cooler (and a lot wetter). But not even a full week of rain can dampen the city’s infectious energy right now—people are leaning into all things FIFA World Cup, no matter how extensive their knowledge of the sport is!
Whether you’re an avid World Cup viewer or a casual fan who’s mostly in it for the vibes, there are plenty of fun spots to set your sights on for a watch party. And while many are outdoors, there is no shortage of indoor options that can fit every preference and viewing style.
Plenty of local breweries and restaurants have transformed their indoor spaces, or at the very least, have put in some large TV screens so you can really lock in.
However, some of the spots below are geared towards a more casual viewing experience. Maybe you’re out and about on your lunch break, running a couple of errands, or just don’t have the time to commit to a beer or a meal out while a match is going on. There’s something for everyone on this list!
Here are some fun indoor places to catch the FIFA World Cup in Vancouver right now, depending on your watch style.
If you want to lock in
From rowdy Irish pubs to East Van breweries, these are some of the spots where the energy is continuously high, no matter who’s playing.
If you want to watch casually
These are for you if you want to watch whoever is playing, but it’s not the only reason you came out. Maybe it’s a birthday, or maybe you’re just wanting to catch up with friends over coffee.
Finally, if you’re out and about but want to tune in, this is the most unconventional spot where we’ve personally seen a screen!
Situated on the north end of Commercial, Joy of the Find Vintage is a must-visit for fun vintage wear, whether you are planning on doing some thrifting or only have a couple of minutes to stop in and scour the racks.

It just goes to show how much the city has embraced FIFA season now that it’s here, and all the connections it has fostered so far. You don’t have to commit to a table or a beer to enjoy the next match, but if you’ve got the time and the interest, it’s worth embracing the pros of being a host city.
Stay dry and keep the vibes high, Vancouver!
