Where to watch the France vs. Spain World Cup match in Toronto, Canada Reviews

14 July 20264 Mins Read

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is down to its final four teams, and while Toronto may be done hosting matches, the city is definitely not done watching. France and Spain face off in the first semifinal today, Tuesday, July 14, at 3 p.m. The match takes place at Dallas Stadium in Arlington, Texas, with the winner advancing to Sunday’s championship final.

If you’re looking to soak up more FIFA energy, here are some of the best spots to cheer on your fave teams, from free outdoor screenings to pub watch parties!

The official FIFA Fan Festival is showing the semifinal across all of its viewing zones! Head to the main stage early: The festival opens at 12:30 pm, and Death from Above 1979 performs from 1 to 3 pm. The match will be shown across all viewing zones at 3 pm, followed by a post-game Sam Roberts Band performance from 5 to 6:30 pm. There will also be interactive soccer activities, markets, giveaways and more than 30 food vendors spread throughout the festival grounds! General admission is free, but a ticket is needed. Premium viewing areas are also available at an additional cost. Fort York and The Bentway, 250 Fort York Blvd.

This is a super central, no-frills option to catch the game downtown. You’ll be outdoors beneath City Hall, so bring a water bottle to beat the heat. Bonus: fans can also play some soccer on the Visa mini-pitches before or after the match. No advance registration or separate ticket is required. 100 Queen St W.

U of T is turning its Front Campus lawn into a giant outdoor viewing area for the semifinal, and you don’t have to be a student to attend, either. The event is free and open to alumni and the general public, with no ticket or RSVP required! Bring a blanket or a lawn chair, and arrive early, as seating is available on a first-come basis. Food trucks will be available nearby, but you can also bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. 1 King’s College Circle.

This family-friendly event is free and includes a pre-match set from DJ Pulsar, along with a 19-plus beer garden and refreshments available for purchase. This is perfect if you want to watch the game on a large outdoor screen rather than at a sports bar. Pre-match entertainment starts at 2 pm, with screening from 3 to 5 pm. Anthony Fusco Sr. Courtyard, 901 Lawrence Ave W.

This watch party is free, with advance registration available through Eventbrite. Come thirsty: this Annex pub has a cool taproom with a rotating selection of craft brews. The event kicks off at 2:30 pm. 511 Bloor St. W.

Lodge on Queen is opening its multi-floor events space for a free semifinal watch party, from 3 to 6 pm. The game will be shown across three screens, and you can expect foosball tables, photo ops and delicious food and drinks to keep you refreshed while you cheer on your team! Free advance tickets are available through Eventbrite, but walk-ins are welcome. 251 Queen St W.

The match will be played on more than 10+ large screens with full stadium sound! Standing room entry is $5, and paid table and seating packages are also available. Doors open at 2 pm. 526 Danforth Ave.

Gibbons Irish Pub is hosting a dedicated semifinal event from 2 pm to late, with multiple screens, cold pints and tons of food! Tickets range from $5 to $59.50, including $5 standing-room entry. 26 Duncan St.

Step into Belfast’s Clubhouse for live World Cup action, Jameson cocktails, match-day bites, exclusive swag and tons of giveaways! Reservations are available, and the venue also has a heated patio and outdoor bar. Opens at 11:30 am, so head over early if possible. 548 King St W.

Walrus is showing the semifinal as part of its “Ultra’s End” World Cup fan-zone takeover. The venue has a beer hall, patio and outdoor bar, along with giveaways, prizes and a World Cup-inspired food menu! Reservations can be made online. Opens at 11:30 am. 187 Bay St.
