American Pickers Season 27 has been on the minds of fans of the beloved History Channel show. But are Mike Wolfe, Danielle Colby and the rest of the cast returning? Let’s take a closer look at what history fanatics can expect.
Thankfully, American Pickers Season 27 is on its way, with production expected to wrap sometime in June. Wolfe confirmed the new season in a November Instagram post.

Unfortunately for fans, the show will go on a hiatus after Season 27.
“We haven’t done that in 15 years, so that’s going to feel good,” Wolfe told People in March. “For 15 years, we have just been going and going and going,” he said, explaining that the longest break the cast and crew have taken is “a month around Christmas.”
He added, “I think we’re going to have at least four or five months off, so it’s going to be good.”
It’s unclear whether the hiatus is connected to Wolfe’s new History Channel show announced in March.

As of writing, a premiere date for American Pickers Season 27 has not been officially announced.
One unconfirmed report predicted the Season 27 premiere would air sometime in the fall of 2025. However, the History Channel has not yet confirmed when the show will return.
Parade has reached out to the History Channel for comment.
Both Wolfe and Colby will return for Season 27 of American Pickers, as he confirmed in a recent Instagram post honoring a featured guest of the show whose husband died.

“This is Nora. Danny and I filmed with her a few days ago but I met her and her husband JP back in 2017 when we shot an episode of American Pickers with them,” Wolfe explained in his update. “Her and JP have devoted their lives to their passions and collecting. With them both being artist and visual merchandisers you can only image the funky beautiful pieces they came across together.”
Wolfe then revealed, “JP has unfortunately passed so what we shot recently was a tribute to a life well lived and the beauty that still remains thru all of his work. Noras energy has made such an impact on my life and Danny’s I can’t wait for you all to meet her. 🙏.”
Additionally, Mike’s brother, Robert Wolfe, and Jon “Jersey” Szalay are expected to return for the upcoming season.
In March, Wolfe shared a photo with Jon via Instagram, teasing that they were filming for Season 27.

As longtime fans know, Frank Fritz died in September 2024 at age 61. He appeared in American Pickers from its premiere in 2010 until partway through Season 21 in 2020.
