The Playoffs continued on Monday night on Season 26 of The Voice with the final five members of Team Snoop Dogg and Team Reba McEntire battling it out for the only two spots in the Live Shows for each team.
Meanwhile, Gwen Stefani and Michael Bublé got to sit back and watch and comment on the performances. Gwen’s team performed last Tuesday with Jan Dan and Sydney Sterlace moving on to the Live Shows. Michael’s team will compete on Tuesday.
The artists on Team Snoop—Aliyah Khaylyn, Austyns Stancil, Christina Eagle, Mikaela Ayira and Jeremy Beloate—got to work with guest Playoff mentor Simone Biles, while Team Reba’s five—Katie O, Adam Bohanan, Edward Preble, Lauren-Michael Sellers, and Danny Joseph—got tutoring from country star Lainey Wilson.
In the end, it will be up to the coaches to decide who goes through to the Live Shows. There are no Saves or Steals in the Playoff rounds.

Song: “Think I’m In Love With You” by Chris Stapleton
Reba said: “Oh, my gosh. You keep getting better and better. When Lainey told you to put the guitar down and get out there in front, you did it. You put your personality in with this song and was telling us all, ‘Hey, I’m in love.’ You did it really good. I’m so proud of you. Adam’s got that dirty soul. He’s raspy, he’s growly, he’s got a terrific range.”
Team Snoop: Christina Eagle
Song: “Fancy” by Reba McEntire
Snoop said: “You performed with such confidence. You damn near walked over here to me and Reba and walked in our laps. That’s courageousness. You took charge. That’s some of the things I was looking for from you. Thank you for making me happy. Christina’s the complete package. If I was to move forward with her, votes would be coming in left and right. She’s young, sensational, willing to be on the edge. She’s what America’s about. The Eagle has landed. ”
Team Reba: Edward Preble
Song: “All of Me” by Frank Sinatra
Reba said: “I was so thrilled to be able to steal you from Michael because you fascinate me. You look like you just walked out of the Rat Pack. I’m glad you could share your talent with the rest of the world, and they will fall in love with you just as we have. What I love about Edward is he’s different, he’s engaging. Everybody moves forward a little bit when Edward gets on stage because we want to see what he does.”

Song: “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston
Snoop said: “I saw greatness. I believe Simone gave you some information about standing in your own power. You stood in your power tonight. I’m trying to hold back the tears because you set yourself up for stardom and I’m honored to have been your coach. You pleased me tonight. Aliyah, she did exactly what I wanted her to do. The way she performed, she is definitely on that turntable as far as who’s going to go with me.”
Team Reba: Katie O
Song: “Hang Tight Honey” by Lainey Wilson
Reba said: “You are a breath of fresh air and you did a really good job on Lainey’s song. Way to go. Katie O is my country girl. She was confident and she looked great. She represents country music really well.”
Team Snoop: Austyns Stancil
Song: “Adore” by Prince
Snoop said: “I am very proud of you. You are going to make the family proud by the way you sang that record. When we hear your voice, we know it’s only your voice. You can make records because that’s what it’s all about. Try to have a real career. Thanks for putting on a helluva show tonight. The spirit of Prince was in there. His look, his sound, his delivery, I was totally impressed. That’s what you do. You bring your best, especially in the Playoffs.”
Team Reba: Lauren-Michael Sellers
Song: “I Am Not Okay” by Jelly Roll
Reba said: “You did so, so good. I’m proud of you. You have chosen songs that touch my heart because you can deliver a message so well. Not only with your voice, but with your eyes, your expressions. These songs help you tell the story I think God put you on earth to tell. Lauren-Michaels, I can see in the Live Shows because she’s just that good. She’s always consistent and she gives her heart and soul to the song. I was very proud of her.”
Team Snoop: Mikaela Ayira
Song: “Love” by Keyshia Cole
Snoop said: “I am a proud uncle now. Let me say that. The advice that Simone gave you to not hold back and really use all of your voice, you did that and you did it well. You need to make a real record. I love you so much. You did a great job. Mikaela has grown into the artist that I want her to be: confident, strong and very coachable. To make it to the Live Shows, I am looking for a little bit of room to grow so I can give you the last candle to put on top of your cake before you go out and win this thing.”
Team Reba: Danny Joseph
Song: “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” by Marvin Gaye
Reba said: “You never disappoint. Your talent is different than anybody else on the show. I was very proud of you tonight. Danny brought down the house. He has such a stage presence and he’s so much fun to watch. You never know what he’s going to do next. I think that’s what the audience loves.”

Song: “The Impossible Dream (The Quest)” – Josh Groban’s rendition
Snoop said: “I am over here shedding tears of joy. You made me feel like I was sitting at a real Broadway play. I’m crying and I don’t care because [Reba] in the seat next to me is crying, so I guess it’s okay to cry. There’s something about the way you make me feel. Jeremy, you are a blessing in disguise. I am so thankful to have you on my team and I am so thankful to hear you sing. This is a superstar. This is a guy who has everything in his toolbox with a backup toolbox. Vocally, I feel he is strong enough to win The Voice.”
Then it was time for Snoop and Reba to decide which two of their artists were going to the Live Shows.
The first artist that Reba selected to move to the Live Shows was Adam Bohanan.
“Adam’s voice stands out because it’s powerful, he’s got great range and he’s got that gravel in his voice,” Reba said. “He’s my dirty soul singer. Tonight, he was great with eye contact, he stayed in the moment. He was having a fun time and that makes everyone have a fun time. Because he’s been so consistent, I had to have him continue on in the show.”
Reba’s second and final choice was Danny Joseph.
“Danny reminds me of a ‘70s rock ‘n’ roll guy,” Reba said. “He is not like anyone else on the show. I think America loves him as much as I do, so he’s going to be terrific to listen to and watch on the Lives.”

Snoop’s first artist moving on to the Live Shows was Jeremy Beloate.
“Jeremy will be great in the Live Shows because he’s a natural-born live performer,” Snoop said. “He knows how to control his voice and his movements on stage, and he proved it with his performance tonight. He is at the pinnacle. He was the most amazing singer that sang on this Voice stage for Season 26.”
Snoop’s second and final choice was Christina Eagle.
“Christina is great for Live Shows because she is a fiery singer of good, old-fashioned country music. Christina Eagle had one chair turn. She had one wing when I met her and then she got a second wing. Now, as you can see, the Eagle has landed.”
The Voice airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT and Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, and streams next day on Peacock.
