It’s so hard to say goodbye to another baker on The Great British Baking Show, especially considering their sweet treats look delicious even when they’re at the bottom of the ranking. But, it’s Week 4 and the competition must go on. Last week saw Pui Man, a 51-year-old bridal designer, leaving the tent.

Who went home from The Great British Baking Show 2025 this week?
Jessika
In a shocking elimination no one could have expected, it was Jessika who went home on Week 4 of The Great British Baking Show 2025. The 32-year-old service designer always seemed to do well with the judges in previous weeks, but the Back to School Week challenges did her no favors.
“This was going to be my last year to apply and I feel chuffed that I made it to the tent,” Jessika told producers in her exit interview. “I have met some incredible, talented, inspiring bakers, so it’s not all bad.”

Who won Star Baker in Week 4 of The Great British Baking Show 2025?
Jasmine
If you have Jasmine as a potential winner for the entire season, you’re going to feel good about this week’s Star Baker announcement. For the second week in a row the 23-year-old medical student was given the competition’s high honor.
What were the challenges this week on The Great British Baking Show 2025?
The show celebrated Back to School Week with three challenges: signature, technical and showstopper.
For the signature challenge the judges tasked contestants with Flapjacks, which are different in the U.K. than what we think of when you say flapjack here. Instead of a pancake, these are a baked bar with an oat base. The technical challenge involved a classic school cake (a basic cake with icing), but in true GBBS form there was a kind of ridiculous add-on task. The bakers had to make their own sprinkles to decorate the cakes. Then, the show stopper challenge was creating a grand masterpiece of childhood treats that make you think of school days gone by.
Who’s left on The Great British Baking Show 2025?
There are just eight contestants left vying for the title of Britain’s Best Amateur Baker in 2025. They are:
Aaron
Iain
Jasmine
Lesley
Nadia
Nataliia
Toby
Tom
