Who Won 'Jeopardy' Today? (March 27, 2026) Plus, the Final Jeopardy Answer

27 March 20263 Mins Read

There are three things guaranteed in the world today: Death, taxes, and Jeopardy! being on. Believe it or not, the iconic game show has been on the air for over 60 years (though the modern incarnation we know and love technically debuted in 1984). Under the watchful eye of Ken Jennings (who himself was a record-breaking champion), Jeopardy! puts three people’s trivia skills and reflexes to the ultimate test. And so many of the greats to grace those podiums started by simply watching the show as it aired on weekdays, as millions have done for over half a century.

Here’s a spoiler-filled recap of who won Jeopardy! today, plus the answer to Final Jeopardy.

What was Final Jeopardy today?

Final Jeopardy today was in the category “Celebrity Memoirs.”

The clue: In the title of a 2023 memoir, Dame Judi Dench calls him, “The Man Who Pays The Rent.”

The answer: Who is Shakespeare?

Jamie yet again went into Final Jeopardy with the lead, though it was only $10,000. The clue turned out to be an infamous “Triple Stumper,” as nobody got it right. For the second day in a row, Jamie played conservatively by wagering a small amount to maintain his lead. He ends the day with $19,101, for a grand total of $291,820 won so far.

When is Jeopardy on next?

If you’re looking to get your fix more recently, ABC is airing the second quarter-final match of Celebrity Jeopardy! All-Stars tonight, Friday, March 27, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. The evening will feature a showdown between stars Sean Gunn, Roy Wood Jr. and Cynthia Nixon. If you would prefer to wait for the proper civilian version, Jeopardy! will come back Monday, March 30, with a new episode. Check your local listings to find out when to watch.

Where is Jeopardy streaming?

Jeopardy! is available on both Hulu and Peacock. Subscribers can enjoy watching new episodes the next day, as well as access a vault of many classic episodes to enjoy at a moment’s notice.
