The 2026 American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe just started, and you can watch the star-studded event through the weekend.

What is the 2026 American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament?

The annual golf tournament at Edgewood Tahoe Resort in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, brings together a wide-ranging group of celebrities from the worlds of film, TV, broadcasting, comedy, and sports. The event goes from July 8 to July 12.

Instead of traditional stroke play, this tournament uses a Modified Stableford scoring system. Players are awarded points based on their score at each hole. In other words, the celebrities want to get the highest possible score. The system goes as follows: An albatross is worth 10 points, a hole-in-one is worth 8, an eagle is worth 6, a birdie is worth 3, a par is worth 1, a bogey is worth 0, and two points are subtracted for anything two over par (or worse).
