Will Smith is delighting fans with an epic take on a viral TikTok trend that reunited him with one of his The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-stars.
The Men in Black star took to the social media platform on March 14 to recreate the trend, enlisting the help of one of his former colleagues as well as a rising rapper who has taken the music world by storm.

The video, which Smith captioned “Waited 35 years for this dance to trend,” started with Tatyana Ali, who played Smith’s youngest cousin on the hit 1990s sitcom, dancing in a room while wearing Walkman headphones.
The scene was ripped straight from an episode of Fresh Prince in which Smith’s character (also named Will Smith) walked into his cousin’s bedroom to find her dancing, began to imitate her moves behind her, and startled her when she turned around to find him dancing energetically.

TikTok user mimeemzyy posted her own version of the scene on Feb. 25, overlaying “Anxiety” by Doechii over the video, spawning countless recreations, including Smith and Ali’s.
But unlike the original television scene, where only Smith and Ali made an appearance, in the Wild Wild West star’s version, Doechii herself popped into the frame in Smith’s TikTok and joined the dance too.

Fans loved the video, jumping into the comments to write “We were waiting for this 👀,” and declare “now this is the original of the original.”
“Did NOT expect Doechii to come around that corner!” exclaimed one commenter, as others agreed, writing, “Doechii was the double icing on the cakee !!!😭.”
“Not will smith having the Same facial expression 30 years later,” teased a fan. “Full circle moments I live for,” said another.
