CloverWorks’ popular martial-arts anime Wind Breaker is coming to Netflix on March 2, 2026.

Wind Breaker is a Japanese anime series produced by CloverWorks and an adaptation of Satoru Nii’s manga of the same name. In total, there have been 24 volumes of the Wind Breaker manga released since its debut in January 2021. The anime is directed by Toshifumi Akai, and the adaptation is written by Hiroshi Seko. The anime is licensed by Aniplex of America and distributed by Crunchyroll.

Haruka Sakura, a recent transfer student, enrolls at Furin High School, which is infamous for its population of brawny brutes who choose to resolve conflicts with their fists. Among the student body is the group Bofurin, which protects the town’s citizens. However, Sakura has one goal in mind: fighting his way to the top.

When is Wind Breaker coming to Netflix?

We can confirm that Wind Breaker will be available to stream on Netflix US on March 2, 2026.

How many seasons of Wind Breaker are coming to Netflix?

At the time of writing, we are only expecting to see the first season of Wind Breaker on Netflix.

When could Wind Breaker season 2 release on Netflix?

The second season of Wind Breaker was only just broadcast in Japan in 2025 (coming to an end in June 2025). Taking that into consideration, we don’t expect to see the second season on Netflix in 2026.
