The star-studded event was packed with performances galore. Seriously. If you were expecting a Super Bowl-ish show, you were in for a surprise. Of course, the Internet has plenty to say about the World Cup final halftime show. Cue the critics…and the backlash.
Immediately after the show, negative comments dominated Reddit threads. Commenters complained, “There was just too much going on. For me, if it had been Madonna, BTS, and Shakira, it would have been fine”, “Bad song choice for Justin,” and “That was so dull.” One Reddit user even wrote, “Hate hate hate hate HAAAAAATE it, may we never witness bu****** like this ever again,” while another asked, “What in the fever dream was that?”
