Wyndham Grand Opens New Hotel in Udaipur, India

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of the Wyndham Grand Udaipur Fatehsagar Lake in Udaipur, India. The hotel is situated on a 26-acre estate near Fatehsagar Lake, offering views of the Aravalli mountains. This new property is part of Wyndham’s portfolio of 90 Wyndham Grand hotels worldwide.

The hotel features 140 guestrooms and suites, blending contemporary and traditional elements. The rooms include Gokhda sit-outs, marble bathrooms, and whirlpool bathtubs in select suites. A Palace Wing is planned to add 60 more rooms in the future.

The Wyndham Grand Udaipur Fatehsagar Lake is a vegetarian resort with dining options such as Pyaala, Shakahari, and O Sian, which serve Indian and international dishes. The hotel also offers various amenities, including a heated outdoor pool, a spa, and sports facilities for tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and cricket.

For events, the hotel offers expansive venues, including an amphitheater, a ballroom, and a large lawn. Additional services include concierge support, childcare, and butler assistance.

The hotel is positioned to attract guests interested in exploring Udaipur’s cultural landmarks, such as Jagdish Temple, Shilpgram, and the City Palace. Room rates start at 12,000 INR (approximately 133 USD), with the option to redeem stays with Wyndham Rewards points.
