You can celebrate Diwali in style at this masquerade-themed event in Calgary

10 October 20252 Mins Read

Diwali, a Hindu festival of lights celebrated each year in India and globally, is coming up on Monday, Oct. 20.

This Diwali celebration is the first of its kind in Calgary, a masquerade ball that will take place on Halloween night.

The sixth annual Diwali Dhamaaka celebration invites you to join other guests for dinner and a dance gala.

You’re invited to attend dressed in your traditional and formal attire. Every ticket purchase will include a free mask and a special gift from India.

Taking place at the gorgeous Empire Banquet Hall, it’ll be equal parts dazzling and unforgettable.

What to expect

Sparq Productions Inc. has been holding annual Diwali celebrations for six years. They’re on a mission to bring the community together with diverse and inclusive cultural exchange.

There will be live entertainment, door prizes, free henna, and a DJ dance floor to keep you moving all night long.

Sparq Productions Inc.’s Diwali celebration sells out every year, so you’ll want to act fast to nab your tickets in advance.

An adult single ticket includes dinner and a dance for $89, and there’s currently an early bird special to secure a table for 10 for $890.

Mark your calendars for Calgary’s most classy and elegant Diwali celebration, where you might meet your Romeo.

Diwali masquerade is coming to Calgary this Halloween night. We can’t wait!

When: Friday, Oct. 31, 2025
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Where: Empire Banquet Hall — 4826 11th St. NE
Cost: $89
