You can get a taste of Calgary’s best cuisine at this food festival

22 July 20252 Mins Read

Get ready to chow down at Calgary’s most appetizing festival! The highly anticipated Taste of Calgary food festival is back July 31 to Aug. 4, 2025.

This free-admission event is every foodies’ dream, giving you the chance to sample the best eats, drinks, and music the city has to offer.

Attendees will experience global delights from a smorgasbord of vendors, including over 60 of Calgary’s most beloved and tastiest restaurants.

Live bands will perform while you chow down, making this a gastronomic experience like no other.

What to expect

Admission to Taste of Calgary is free. Attendees have the opportunity to purchase a series of “Taste Tickets” that they can use to redeem dishes. Each dish ranges from two to seven tickets.

That means you can get a taste of Calgary’s best bites from a variety of diverse cuisines. There will also be a handful of sweet treats and even some exploratory offerings (bear balls, anyone?)

The event will take place over 5 days from July 31 to Aug. 4, 2025, with the festival open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Even leashed pets are allowed at the event. There may be a pup cup or two in store for your favourite pooch!

Move to Lot 6

A new location for Taste of Calgary will see the festival setting up shop in Lot 6 at 311 8th St. SW. The new locale is perfectly situated along the river pathway on the corner of 4th Avenue and 9th Street, right before the Louise Bridge in Kensington.

So whether you’re hungry for lunch, dinner, or something in between, Taste of Calgary will be waiting.

When: July 31 to Aug. 1, 2025
Where: 311 8th St. SW, Calgary
Cost: Free; $1 per taste ticket
