You can have a slumber party with alpacas at an Ontario farm

5 June 20252 Mins Read

Talk about trying something new! Haute Goat Farm is hosting a truly unique experience at their space – a sleepover with its Huacaya Alpaca and Babydoll sheep. Yep, you and a friend can spend the night with these adorable creatures, plus enjoy the other amenities the farm has to offer.

Let’s jump in.

The farm is located in Newtonville, about an hour and a half by car from Toronto.

According to Haute Goat Farm, the sleepover happens “in a completely weatherized Bunkie right inside the paddock, Shaun the sheep knocking at the door, and the peaceful humming of the Alpacas as you drift off to sleep.” Okay. I’m intrigued.

Each sleepover experience begins at 3 p.m., with guests encouraged to explore the 200-acre farm. There are plenty of trails to explore, a disc golf course, and The Screaming Goat café (open Wednesday-Sunday), serving up farm-to-table lunch.

A blind tasting experience with the farm’s chef can also be booked, you just have to request it ahead of time.

Bunkies come with a comfy queen-sized bed and a little seating area. There’s also a fire pit that can be used at night — a perfect place to sip a drink while you stargaze.

Breakfast is served at 9 a.m., but you can head to the barn at 8 a.m. to hang with the goats. A glorious way to start the day, if you ask me.

Sleepovers are priced at $250 for two people, which includes your stay and breakfast.

Girls’ night just took an insanely fun turn.
