You can watch movies while floating in a wave pool near Montreal this summer

9 July 20252 Mins Read

A water park just over an hour from Montreal is swapping lawn chairs for pool floats and popcorn this summer.

Parc aquatique Bromont is bringing back its ciné-piscine nights for two evenings of family-friendly movies in the wave pool. On July 25 and August 8, visitors can kick back on inflatable tubes or settle into bean bags and loungers around the pool while watching a movie on a giant outdoor screen.

The lineup includes Madagascar on July 25 and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on August 8 — two animated classics that should appeal to kids, families, and anyone looking to cool off after a hot summer day.

The wave pool opens at 6:30 p.m., giving guests time to grab a good spot or let the kids enjoy the on-site play zone. There’ll also be colouring sheets inspired by the movie to help keep little ones entertained during the screenings, which begin at 7 p.m.

Whether you’re floating in the water or lounging poolside under the stars, it’s a pretty magical way to experience movie night. And if you missed out last summer, this is your chance to dive in.

Tickets are $15 for ages 13 and up, $10 for kids aged 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and under. Everyone needs a ticket to attend — even season pass holders. Space is limited, so booking in advance is a good idea.
