IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You will have a lot to say for yourself over the coming year and need to be aware of the impact your words have on people who may not be as forthright in their opinions as you are. You will achieve more if you think before you speak.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

The more of an effort you make to see things from a loved one’s point of view the more of an effort they will make to overlook your failings. Don’t demand perfection of others when you are some way short of perfection yourself!

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The planets warn that a relationship could come under a bit of strain but the situation will resolve itself eventually so don’t act as if it’s the end of the world. It could actually be the beginning of a more passionate phase.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You need to slow down a bit and recognize that if you keep moving at your current speed there will be some sort of crash in the near future. You may be driven by huge amounts of nervous energy but don’t let it consume you.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Make it your business today to remind a friend or loved one that you are still there for them even though you may have seemed a bit distant of late. Come out of your shell and do something that shows you care about them very much indeed.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Something that has caused you quite a bit of anguish in recent weeks needs to be dealt with once and for all over the next 24 hours. Try to see that in the wider scheme of things it is actually quite trivial and not worthy of your attention.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

What occurs today is likely to wind you up a bit and make you more emotional than you need to be. If you can get past it quickly the coming weekend should bring much better experiences, the kind that make you glad to be alive.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Venus, your ruler, is about to square up to passion planet Pluto, which suggests that your feelings for someone could easily go from one extreme to the other. You may need to remind yourself that they are human like everyone else.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Pluto’s influence in your chart is such that you may let your emotions get the better of you, and that could cause problems over the next few days. A more forgiving outlook on your part will go a long way to easing a tense situation.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Stay alert and be ready to move at a moment’s notice today. If a friend or loved one suggests that you do something of a creative nature together you should jump at the opportunity. It will be a lot of fun and also bring you closer together.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

A sudden attraction could easily turn into an unhealthy infatuation, so promise yourself that no matter how much fun you have with a newcomer on your social scene over the next few days you won’t let it turn either your head or your heart!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You need to set yourself a new target, one that stretches your abilities to the full. For too long you have been coasting well within your limits and it’s left you a bit stale and a bit lethargic. Force yourself out of your comfort zone.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Financial matters are under pretty good stars at the moment but there is a danger you could take that as an invitation to spend money on things you don’t need and on people who don’t deserve your generosity. Try being more self-disciplined.
