IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A Mercury-Jupiter link on your birthday means the power of your mind has rarely been stronger, and if you focus your thoughts in a single direction you cannot help but accomplish something out of the ordinary. Think it, do it, and enjoy the results.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

The only thing you can be certain of this weekend is that there will be changes of a radical nature. The good news is those changes will benefit you in various ways, not the least of which will be to bring one particular dream closer to fulfillment.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Try not to take what’s going on in your neighbourhood, or in the world at large, quite so seriously. You can at times see life as a battle of “us” against “them” but it does not have to be that way. Ultimately we are all on the same side.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Mercury, your ruler, links with Jupiter this weekend, making it easy for you to take decisions that are not only good for you personally but will also help family and friends. Be bold and always believe that you are doing the right thing.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

As one of the zodiac’s cardinal signs you are not afraid to take the initiative and make things happen, and that trait will serve you well this weekend as others need a leader to take control. Think before you act, then act with unrestrained energy.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Whatever challenges you face over the next 48 hours you will deal with them all quite easily. You are in no mood to let a few minor setbacks deflect you from the course you have chosen - a course that can take you to a very special place.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You enjoy a good puzzle and what occurs this weekend will challenge you to get your mind in gear and solve a problem that has left other people bemused. Focus on the facts alone and ignore answers that you would most like to see.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If you don’t like what partners and colleagues get up to this weekend then remove yourself from the scene and do something on your own. The planets warn if you follow the herd you could end up on someone’s dinner plate.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You always expect the best of yourself and for that reason you expect the best of your teammates as well. You may though have to give some of them a pep talk this weekend as not everyone seems convinced they are on the winning side.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Jupiter, your ruler, joins forces with mind planet Mercury this weekend, which means you will be even more switched on than usual to what is going on in the world. If you think there is something you personally can do to help then get on with it.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Everyone seems to have an opinion about what’s going on but the only voice that matters is the one that comes from inside you. Follow what that voice tells you, even if everyone else thinks it is wrong. They are the ones who will look silly.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

It is of the utmost importance that you think for yourself this weekend. It may be easy to agree with someone whose inflated self-belief makes them a magnet for weaker-minded people to follow, but do they really know what they are talking about?

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

If you knuckle down and get started on those changes you have been planning you may be surprised how much you get done in the space of just one weekend. Start early, finish late and, above all, believe you have the power to change things.
