IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You may think you have missed your big chance and that your rivals are catching up with you but if you commit to upping your game over the next 12 months they won’t get within touching distance. You’re still king of the urban jungle.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You have been extremely busy over the past few weeks but now you must decide which of your many projects you are going to continue with and which of them no longer matter. Be ruthless with yourself, because you can’t do it all.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

There is light at the end of the tunnel and when the sun moves in your favour at the weekend your rivals will be blinded by your brilliance. A positive outlook is a must, as so much depends on your state of mind. Always aim to do better.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You may have to cut back on your social life over the next few days as family and other personal commitments eat into your time and energy. Don’t feel resentful about it, just get on and show you take your obligations seriously.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Money matters are important, of course, but not so important that you must spend a large chunk of your time worrying about where the next dollar is coming from. A more relaxed attitude to your finances will pay off in other ways.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

The sun leaves your birth sign at the weekend but there is no reason why you should slow down or lower your sights when it comes to either your personal affairs or your career. Your momentum will carry you along for some time to come.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

As the sun moves closer to your sign you will begin to feel more confident about your ability to move events in your favour, rather than being constantly at the mercy of other people’s whims and fancies. Self-belief can take you a very long way.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

It will pay you to look less at what is going on in the outside world and more at what is going on in your own head and heart. What you choose to think and feel will be the No. 1 factor that determines your future success.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

You have worked extremely hard in recent weeks and no one can deny that you deserve a break. But only you can make the decision to slow down a bit and take life at an easier pace. Not even a Scorpio can move at light speed forever.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

The sun’s move into the career area of your chart this weekend will encourage you to get serious about your ambitions. Not that you haven’t been serious in the past but it’s time to move up a level and show the world you’re the best.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The past few weeks may not have been easy but the challenges you faced pushed you past your former limits and now you know you can do so much better. A more rewarding phase begins for you this weekend. Take full advantage of it!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

If a relationship is not showing signs of improvement then maybe it’s time to admit you need to move on. Give it one more go today and tomorrow but if it’s still not happening then get ready to say your goodbyes at the weekend.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You may be tempted to crack the whip to get teammates working harder today but the planets suggest you are unlikely to get much of a response. Maybe it’s best to give everyone an early start to the weekend and begin afresh next Monday.
