IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The changes that are taking place in your world are not meant to upset you but to excite you. If you approach the year ahead in a spirit of adventure there is no limit to how much you can achieve, or how much fun you can have.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Quit worrying about a situation that is beyond your ability to control and focus on those things you can change for the better. As is often the case, if you don’t dwell on the problem it will lose its power until it isn’t a problem at all.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You seem to have an almost limitless supply of energy at the moment but are you using it wisely? The sun’s link to Uranus, planet of the unexpected, in your sign this weekend warns if you continue to be wasteful you may soon regret it.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Someone’s tendency to wallow in self-pity will really annoy you this weekend and all you can do about it is to get as far away from them as possible. Don’t bother trying to help them as they secretly enjoy feeling helpless and aggrieved.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

The influence of Uranus in the area of your chart that governs your hopes and wishes will encourage you to think of new ways to express yourself creatively but take care you don’t overextend yourself financially. Do you really have cash to spare?

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

By all means set your sights high and push yourself hard over the next 48 hours but don’t expect to get it all your own way. Ambition and effort are important, of course, but you are not the only one with an eye on the main prize.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

What occurs this weekend will remind you that all things are possible and that if you believe in what you are doing strongly enough you can find a way to make it happen. Have a clear vision of your goal and go after it with total self-belief.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Something dramatic will happen this weekend and a lot of people will be taken by surprise to such an extent that they simply can’t handle it. You, however, saw it coming and have been quietly preparing yourself. You’re up for the challenge.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

No matter how carefully you explain something to a friend or work colleague this weekend they still won’t get it, so why waste your time on them? If they are so backward in their thinking there’s probably not a lot you can do about it.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

No matter how big your workload may be at the moment you need to approach it in a sensible fashion. The planets warn if you try to get through it at warp speed you will create even more work for yourself, so take your time and do it right.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If you have to confront a friend or relative with an unpleasant fact this weekend try to do so in a way that is least likely to upset them. Fortunately, by the time of next Tuesday’s solar eclipse that unpleasant fact will be yesterday’s news.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

It’s good that you are in such a carefree state of mind at the moment but as the sun in your sign squares up to changes planet Uranus this weekend you need to be careful. Too much good cheer could provoke an unexpected backlash.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You don’t lack for confidence but what you will need more of this weekend is common sense. Social activities and travel plans could easily go awry if you approach them in too casual a fashion. Watch where you put your feet.
