IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

The targets you set yourself must be viable but they must also be bold. If you get the balance right this could be the year when you move up to a higher level of creative success, a level that brings immense satisfaction and material rewards.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

The sun’s move into the most sensitive area of your chart means you want nothing more than to be left alone with your thoughts. As far as you possibly can today, cut yourself off from outside distractions and think about the direction your life is taking.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The things you have learnt about in recent weeks will generate a more optimistic outlook on life on your part. Not everyone will agree with you that there are good reasons to be happy but don’t let that stop you from smiling.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You’ve had a lot of fun in recent weeks but now you need to get serious about life again. In particular you need to pay attention to what is taking place on the work front as it will herald major changes that could affect your career.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Now that the cosmic picture is changing in your favour you will have every opportunity to show the world that you are a force to be reckoned with. But leave yourself time to have fun as well – play is as important as work.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If your instincts warn that someone is up to no good you would be wise to listen to them. And when you have a better idea of what is going on you must act on that information. If you don’t it could cost you serious money.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

The sun’s move into your opposite sign today will swing the spotlight away from your work situation and towards partnerships of a more personal nature. Don’t be afraid to be more expressive emotionally. A little bit of love will go a very long way.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

The hour hand on the cosmic clock has moved forward and the focus of your efforts over the next four weeks or so will be more on your everyday routines than on big creative plans. The devil is always in the details, so stay sharp.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The past few weeks were no doubt a bit of a challenge and there were times when you came close to despair but the next few weeks will more than make up for it. Creatively and romantically a new and better phase starts today.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

It’s not like you to be thin-skinned but you won’t be untouched by criticism today. If you are smart you will listen to what is being said about you and learn from it. But if you lash out in retaliation you could regret it later on.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Life is good and getting better by the day, the hour, even the minute. Keep telling yourself that and keep behaving as if it is true and before you know it you will be flying along with a smile on your face and a song in your heart.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Although the sun leaves your birth sign today Mars and Pluto remain, so you won’t lack for energy or ambition and will keep pushing ahead with your plans even though they may become a bit harder to complete. Good things are worth working for.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

A new solar year begins today as the sun joins Venus and Mercury in your sign. The very first thing you must do – if you have not done it already – is to write down your aims for the next 30 days. Give yourself a blueprint to follow.
