IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A Mars-Uranus link on your birthday will endow you with huge amounts of physical, mental and emotional energy, but it will also make you somewhat reckless. So for every decision you make this year wait at least 24 hours before taking action.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If there is a message you want to get across to people you work or do business with then do so now before the weekend begins. You must, however, make sure the language you use is not too abrupt as that could make co-operation less likely.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You need to pay attention to little things today, because if you miss something minor it could cause major repercussions further down the line. Be aware that Uranus in your sign could make you a little too reckless for your own good.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You may be in a chatty mood at the moment but you need to be careful or you could let slip information that could damage your prospects on the work front. Don’t give important people the idea that you are not to be trusted.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

If a colleague tries to wriggle out of an obligation of some kind today you must make sure they don’t succeed. Spell out what the consequences will be if they fail to do what they are obliged to finish on time and to a high standard.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you discover something interesting about a friend today, something you know they don’t want to be made public, you must be the soul of discretion. If you let slip even a hint of what they’ve been up to it could end your relationship.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You must make sure that someone you work with pulls their weight today. The planets warn if you are not looking over their shoulder every minute they will vanish and leave you with the task of finishing the job. You’ve got to be tough.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You may not have any doubts about what you are doing but today’s Mars-Uranus link suggests that other people do. It’s unlikely you will be able to convince them, so save your breath and just get on with it. You don’t need their blessing.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you lose your temper about something today you could go too far and make a far bigger scene than is necessary. Call on your powers of self-control and let the offending party know in clear but moderate terms what they’ve done wrong.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You will need to police both your thoughts and your speech over the next 24 hours, because if you come across in a way that invites confrontation you will most likely get it. If you’ve got right on your side you don’t need might as well.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

The more pressure you are put under today the more you will enjoy it. You are in one of those moods where you delight in showing the world that you are tougher than your rivals. That’s fine, but you will need to be smarter as well.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

No matter how convinced you may be that you are in the right about something you must not force through changes that other people do not want. You may succeed in the short-term but at some point in the future they will get their revenge.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

Certain topics – politics and religion among them – are best avoided over the next 24 hours. If you get into an argument with someone, even a friend, it could quickly escalate into a full-blown confrontation. Will it be worth it? No it will not!
