IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Make it your primary goal over the coming year to find something to laugh about each and every day. Despite all its problems the world is still a wonderful place, and if you treat it as such it will reward you with some truly wonderful experiences.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You must keep your wits about you this weekend because with mind planet Mercury close to the sun you could easily be the target of a confidence trick. If a money-making proposal sounds too good to be true just give it a miss.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

The sun and Mercury in the most outgoing area of your chart compel you to socialize and travel as much as you can, but because Mercury is going through its retrograde phase you cannot afford to leave anything to chance. Plan ahead every step of the way.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You may be inclined to start something new but wouldn’t it be better to complete what you’ve already begun? The planets warn if you leave a task half-finished now it will come back to haunt you later on. It may be boring but get it done.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You may think you can do no wrong at the moment, and you may be right, but that doesn’t mean you can take silly chances. With retrograde Mercury close to the sun this weekend any risks you take may not work out the way you expected.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Jupiter in your sign makes it easy for you to get carried away, and with mind planet Mercury up to its tricks this weekend it’s unlikely you will be able to see the pitfalls ahead. That’s why you need to get a trusted friend to advise you.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

It might be wise to put off making any major decisions until later in the month. Why? Because while your ruling planet Mercury is going through its retrograde phase you cannot be certain that the “facts” on which you base those decisions are actually true.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You may be desperate to push ahead on the work front and show what you can do but being desperate could also lead to mistakes you would not normally make. This is one of those occasions when you need to rein in your enthusiasm a bit.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The more things change the more they stay the same. Is that how you feel? If it is then maybe you need to be smart and stop trying to influence what is going on in the wider world. Why put so much effort into not getting things done?

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

What other people say this weekend must not be allowed to change what you are doing to the slightest degree. You are on a path of your own choosing and it is your destiny to follow that path to the end. Close your ears and just keep going.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

If you take time to help other people this weekend the universe will help you later on when you are in need of assistance. You may not get much thanks from family and friends but you have never been one to seek praise for a good deed.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You must be orderly and methodical in everything you do this weekend, because if you deviate from the accepted course of action by even an inch you could end up miles out of your way. Sometimes, like now, it’s okay to be unadventurous.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The promises you make over the next 48 hours will be promises you are expected to keep no matter how long it takes, be it 48 days, weeks, months or years! For that reason alone you must make sure they are promises you believe in.
