IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

There will be obstacles in your path this year but that does not mean the universe does not want you to succeed. On the contrary, it wants you to raise your sights to a higher level so that what you now see as obstacles become golden opportunities.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

What’s done is done and cannot be undone, so don’t start thinking you can turn the clock back on a situation that caused you a fair amount of personal grief. What occurs this weekend will give you the chance to move on with your life. Take it.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You may have to do something this weekend that you know won’t be met with universal approval, not even among your friends, but you know it must be done. Sometimes in life you have no choice but to be decisive, even brutal.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

You are not the sort to change your ways to please other people and with your ruling planet Mercury linked to Mars this weekend you have no intention of giving an inch. It’s your way or the highway and you really don’t care which way others choose.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Your ability to think outside the box will give you some fresh insights into how to reorder your affairs this weekend. Not everyone will be happy that you are so keen to dispense with tradition but you are in no mood to compromise.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

You must put your own needs first this weekend, especially where money and business matters are concerned. It can at times be a dog-eat-dog world out there and if you don’t look out for your interests you can be sure no one else will either.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Mercury, your ruler, joins forces with Mars in the partnership area of your chart this weekend, so it’s likely that a few harsh words will be flying around. But words cannot harm you, so long as you stay calm and keep a tight rein on your emotions.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If others want to make an issue of something that seems trivial to you that’s up to them, but you are under no obligation to play their foolish game. For your own peace of mind, avoid people who always seem to have a grievance of some sort.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

This weekend’s Mars-Mercury link in the most dynamic area of your chart means there is no doubt at all that you are going to succeed, but as Mercury is currently moving retrograde there could still be a surprise or two in store, so be careful.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You may believe with all your heart that what you are doing is right and proper but the planets suggest that your nearest and dearest are having some serious doubts. Spell out for them in simple words why their fears are groundless.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Get out into the world and interact with as many people as you can over the next 48 hours. Friends, and even strangers, you meet on your travels will have some interesting things to tell you, so be sociable and, above all, listen carefully.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Be wary of people who say you need to act fast to take advantage of an opportunity of some kind this weekend. Their advice may be well intentioned but as mind planet Mercury is still moving retrograde they probably don’t have all the facts.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

You may be determined to do something big but don’t get carried away and chase after the first new idea that pops into your head. Instead, go back to an old idea that never quite worked out for you and find a way to make it happen.
