IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You don’t generally spend much time questioning who you are and why you are here - you just get on and do what you feel to be right. This year though you will be a lot more introspective, and what you discover about yourself will be fascinating.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

There will be a bit of a party atmosphere as the week comes to a close, most likely because so many people are relieved to have come through the recent turmoil unscathed. Let your hair down and join in the fun - you’ve earned it.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Make an effort to get along with everyone today, even though it may be obvious that not everyone wants to get along with you. It’s up to you how you choose to react to people who are needlessly negative in their outlook. Try ignoring them.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

It may be tempting to exaggerate your own importance but it really isn’t necessary. People in positions of power know what you are capable of and don’t need any further persuading, so at least pretend to be modest about your abilities.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

The best way to get others to believe in you is to believe in yourself. There tends to be an element of doubt in the Cancer mind, as if something bad will always occur, but you are also a pretty good actor, so play a role today.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

False modesty is not an affliction you suffer from too often and over the next 24 hours you will talk yourself up a storm. Let others know who you are, what you can do and, most importantly of all, what they can do for you.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

If there is something you truly desire but cannot see how you can make it your own what happens today will give you grounds for optimism. To put it bluntly, if less talented individuals can make their dreams come true then so can you!

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Cosmic activity in your opposite sign means you will have to tailor your actions to what colleagues expect of you, but that should be no great hardship. You are on the same wavelength for most things, so work together to your mutual benefit.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

Don’t get bogged down in trying to work out how and why you got yourself trapped in a situation that is bad for you. Instead, use your time and energy to find a way to get out of it. On this occasion, you CAN turn back the clock.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

If you focus on the little things today the big things will take care of themselves. The sun in the most dynamic area of your chart means that every thought you have and every action you take will have a very positive knock-on effect.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You’ve had some serious differences with a friend in recent weeks but don’t let them ruin your relationship. True friends are those who never give up on each other, especially when your rivals are so obviously trying to keep you apart.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You may have spent more than you planned to in recent weeks but it’s not the end of the world so don’t let your mind slip into one of those “woe is me” moods. Being a creative sort you can easily find ways to make up the difference.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

There is no point trying to hide from the world when it’s obvious that the world knows where you are and what you are doing. You may not enjoy being in the spotlight today but it will give you a chance to explain yourself.
