IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Saturn links with Pluto on your birthday, so your attitude to life will be serious in the extreme. Give yourself opportunities to relax and recharge your batteries but don’t lose sight of your number one goal, because reaching that goal will bring huge satisfaction.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You may be eager to push ahead with a project of some kind but Saturn in your sign means you must plan carefully and take it a step at a time. Energy and enthusiasm are important, of course, but they won’t be enough on their own.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

If you look back over the first quarter of the year you will realize that you have made considerable progress toward your long-term goals. As one of the zodiac’s Earth signs you know the value of compound effort - a little can go a very long way.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If you have over-indulged in the good things in recent weeks you can expect some kind of reset over the next 48 hours. That may sound worrying but it’s no big deal - in fact you will be glad to see the back of your excesses.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

What occurs this weekend can be seen as either a challenge or an opportunity, it depends entirely on the viewpoint you choose to apply to it. The best viewpoint, of course, is to see opportunities in even the toughest of challenges.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Don’t let other people talk you into moving ahead faster than you are ready to go. Even a Leo has limits and you will instinctively know this weekend where to draw the line. If you over-extend yourself now you will surely regret it later on.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Make sure you know what you are getting into this weekend, because if you jump blindly into a new experience the results could be less than enjoyable. Use your powerful mind to look ahead and work out what the pitfalls might be.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

If a friend gets a bit depressed this weekend you must not let them drag you down too. Not everyone can be as calm and emotionally balanced as you are Libra, so make allowances and do what you can to help them see the light again.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

The more you feel a sense of urgency this weekend the more you must strive to maintain self-control. The planets warn if you act in haste you will repent at leisure, so stand back, count to ten and let other people do the heavy work.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

There is so much going on at the moment that it’s really no surprise that your head is in a bit of a spin. Take time out of your busy schedule this weekend to find a quiet place where you can be alone, and at peace, with your thoughts.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

There are many reasons why you should feel pleased with yourself and several more will be coming your way this week. Family and financial matters are under especially good stars at the moment, so you won’t be short of opportunities to smile.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Pluto in your sign is encouraging you to push yourself hard, and with Saturn, planet of discipline, strong in your chart as well you can strike the right balance between effort and relaxation. You won’t do too much and you won’t do too little.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

It is important that you do something meaningful over the next 48 hours, something that encourages you to believe that you are making a difference. A selfless act will go a very long way, maybe even all the way round the world.
