A solar eclipse on your birthday means that almost anything you turn your hand and mind to over the coming 12 months is going to work out brilliantly. Never mind about the near misses of the past, you’re going to hit the bullseye this year!
ARIES (March 21 – April 20):
Try not to overdo it this weekend, because if you go to extremes you could draw unwelcome attention from people who would like nothing better than to see you fall on your face. You may not care much about that now but you will do later on.
TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):
If there is something that needs dealing with, something that may be of a less than savory nature, then get on to it now while you have the power of the solar eclipse on your side. Pretending that something does not exist is not an option!
GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):
Be careful what you say this weekend because not everyone will appreciate you being so free and easy with your opinions. The most important thing is that you are in a position to back up any claims you make with rock-solid evidence.
CANCER (June 22 – July 23):
You may prefer to keep a low profile over the next 48 hours but events over which you have no control are unlikely to allow that. A great many people will be watching you and they will expect you to perform at your very best level.
LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):
Just because you can be outspoken doesn’t mean you have to be and if you are smart you will keep some of what you were planning to say to yourself this weekend. Why risk upsetting people when there is nothing to be gained from it?
VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):
If you focus too intently on your own affairs this weekend you could miss something of massive importance that is taking place in the wider world. Keep your eyes and ears open and be ready to take advantage of potentially beneficial changes.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):
This weekend’s solar eclipse will bring you into contact with someone who, while they may not be on exactly the same wavelength, can be of use to you in a personal or professional capacity. You can easily ignore what you see as their faults.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
The more you put off a task you know you won’t enjoy the more of an effort it will be to get started on it, which you must do sooner or later. Roll up your sleeves and get on with it now with help from the solar eclipse.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):
Although most things are coming easy to you now that does not mean you can take it easy. On the contrary, now more than ever you must double your efforts because for every sacrifice you make the universe will reward you 10 times over.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):
If there is still a residue of bad feeling on the home front then bring everyone together this weekend and talk through the issue that is dividing you. Most likely it’s not such a big deal at all and a little understanding and forgiveness will clear it up.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
Forget about chores and responsibilities this weekend and focus instead on what is taking place in the world outside your door. If you are unhappy with a lot of what you see then make it your business to put some of it right.
PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):
If you start something new this weekend it will have the power of the solar eclipse behind it and that means you highly unlikely to lose. Activities of a creative or artistic nature will go especially well and could make you a lot of money.
