IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You will be passionate in the extreme this year but unless you control and channel that passion your efforts won’t get far. What is the one thing in your life you want to change more than anything else? Give that 80 per cent of your attention.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

There could be some confusion this weekend with people hearing what they want to hear rather than what is actually being said. Focus on what friends are trying to tell you and be one of the lucky few who understands what’s going on.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

No doubt you have come up with all sorts of great ideas in recent weeks but what are you going to do with them all? The simple fact is you can only do one task at time, so decide what that is going to be and stick with it!

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Something surprising will happen this weekend and whether you think of it as a good surprise or a bad one will depend on your frame of mind. It is more likely to be of the good variety if you choose not to take life too seriously.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You can be a bit thin-skinned at times and with Venus linked to power planet Pluto this weekend you will need to stay calm whatever the provocation. It may seem as if others are being intentionally annoying but chances are you are overreacting.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Put your worries behind you this weekend and have fun with your friends. The world may be in a bit of a state but it won’t change just because you choose to be depressed about it. Choose to have a good time instead.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Don’t be afraid to approach someone in a position of power if you think they can do something for you. It would help, of course, if you can show that you can do things for them as well. Find an answer to their number one problem.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Now the sun is moving in your favour those restrictions that were holding you back will lose their power and soon you will be hurrying ahead again. Don’t move too fast though or you could miss some interesting sights along the way.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

It may be tempting to talk a situation up and make it seem better than it is but it would also be a mistake. Others want to know you can be trusted and they will appreciate it more if you give it to them straight, warts and all.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Get up early, stay out late and have a great time. That is the message of the stars this weekend and if you follow it you won’t go far wrong. You may though end up a long way from home, so make sure you know how to get back!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Something will inspire you to think big this weekend but you may be reluctant to follow your dream without a detailed plan. Don’t let that hold you back for even a moment, because it is the lack of a plan that will make it so much fun.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Your commitment to a project of some kind should be renewed this weekend as the planets show it has a lot of life left in it. If you abandon it now you will regret it towards the end of the month when it finally starts coming together.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

As one of the zodiac’s sensitive water signs you easily tune into the emotions of the people around you, and it will be clear this weekend that a loved one needs your assistance. Don’t wait to be asked, dive right in and help them out.
