IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

So much will depend over the next 12 months on how you choose to approach the challenges of life. If you treat them as a game to be enjoyed you will have a marvellous time. You will also be a winner more often than not.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

Travel and social plans could be affected by this weekend’s Blue Moon, so make sure you have a fallback plan in case you have to reschedule your activities. Also, try not to promise that you will be in a certain place at a certain time.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

If you do something on impulse over the next 48 hours it could cost you both in the financial sense and in terms of your reputation. Blue Moons are never a good time to take risks and this one could be particularly troublesome, so be careful.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

One-to-one relationships, be they romantic or platonic, could cause problems this weekend as major differences are magnified and made to appear a lot worse than they actually are. Promise yourself here and now that you won’t get emotional.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

It will be hard to disguise your impatience this weekend and if friends and colleagues are slow off the mark you should let them know you are not impressed. Don’t be too tough on them though - they can’t help being less motivated than you.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Someone you usually get along with quite well could be a bit of a pain over the next 48 hours but the good news is this is only a passing phase and you will be on the same wavelength again soon. Life is full of minor ups and downs.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

As the Blue Moon cuts across one of the more important lines of your chart you must be careful how you deal with people both at home and at work. Loved ones and employers are likely to be somewhat touchy this weekend, so watch what you say.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You think fast and you talk fast but that is not always a good thing and as the current Blue Moon occurs in the communications area of your chart you will need to police what comes out of your mouth. Try not to treat everything as a joke.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

It’s not like you to take silly chances but this weekend’s Blue Moon could tempt you to gamble with both your money and your reputation. If in doubt, keep your cash in your pocket and your tongue fixed firmly behind your teeth.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

Because the current Blue Moon takes place in your sign you will find it hard to control your feelings and there could be tears before bedtime. That may, however, be a good thing in that the air gets cleared and everyone knows where they stand.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Stop worrying about problems over which you have no control and focus on matters where you do have some leverage. If you play the game right over the next 48 hours you could turn a bad situation into something that is actually quite good.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

If a friend needs a shoulder to cry on this weekend you will offer one with no questions asked. You don’t have to know or care what has caused their tears, you just need to be there for them in their moment of need.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

The Blue Moon will have people running here, there and everywhere today and tomorrow and it could all get a bit exhausting. For the sake of your own sanity you are advised to make sure there is an emotional barrier between you.
