Pack your favorite cozy sweater because the coolest new way to see Alaska just arrived, and it comes with a seriously stylish glow-up. Virgin Voyages, known for its sun-soaked Caribbean sailings and lively Miami-chic vibe, is officially trading palm trees for glaciers. The award-winning, adults-only cruise line is making its highly anticipated Pacific Northwest debut as its newest ship, Brilliant Lady, charts 17 Alaska voyages across 12 stunning destinations this summer.
Sailing from Seattle and Vancouver, these seven- to 12-night itineraries are designed for front-row access to cascading waterfalls, rugged landscapes and peak orca season. But while the shore excursions offer classic adventures like glacier trekking and salmon fishing, the real magic is how Virgin has winterized its signature superyacht aesthetic into the ultimate cozy retreat.

Instead of focusing inward on a sunny pool deck, Brilliant Lady received a purposeful redesign to let the dramatic Alaskan scenery take center stage.
The Athletic Club outdoor lounge now features an expansive panoramic glass wall at the stern, with its iconic circular daybeds reoriented outward so you can gaze at uninterrupted views of coastal waters while staying perfectly warm. The Roundabout, the ship’s social heart, has transformed into a snug indoor haven with deep navy banquettes, jewel-toned seating and a barista-primed Draught Haus. Even the eateries got a seasonal flip; the popular veggie-forward Razzle Dazzle has evolved into Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, a Spanish-influenced venue sporting warm terracotta and crimson hues built for intimate shared plates.

When you aren’t sampling the new locally sourced Alaskan seafood enhancements, you can head back to your cabin—where 86 percent of rooms boast private balconies with those famous hand-woven hammocks—to wrap up in a warm knitted blanket with hot cocoa or a glass of Moët.
The brand’s loyal fans have been waiting for this exact pivot. Virgin Voyages’ CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu said, “We have incredibly high repeat rates, so our Sailors are always challenging us to seek new horizons; they always want to know ‘where else can we sail with Virgin?’ This brand is charting new paths, and the sold-out response to our Front(ier) of the Line passes showed us just how sought after our Alaskan itineraries are. We continue to reach for the high seas with our itineraries, with Brilliant Lady being no exception. Soon our Sailors can visit one of the world’s most incredible destinations on the No. 1 cruise line, all while enjoying new and exciting artists, chefs and musicians that bring the Virgin vibe.”
